How long can the promo video be?+
Anywhere from 15 seconds to 5 minutes. Choose a preset (30s, 45s, 1 minute, 90 seconds, 2, 3 or 5 minutes) or drag the slider. The scene list is re-weighted so the total runtime matches exactly. Intros are a separate studio with a 5–10 second range.
Is Promoloop really free?+
Yes — free for everyone, with no paid plan and no card required. Create an account and every export is watermark-free, at 720p or 1080p, in MP4 or WebM. Anonymous visitors can also create and export immediately, but those files carry a small “Powered by ActivatePro.cc” badge.
What can I do without an account?+
Everything: scan a website, generate a storyboard, edit scenes, pick music, render and download. The only difference is the watermark. Registering removes it, saves your projects to a personal workspace and adds team seats.
How do the voice-overs work?+
Three ways. Record your own voice straight in the studio and it is mixed with the music (which auto-ducks under you). Or pick a natural voice installed on your device — Edge, Chrome and macOS ship genuinely human narrators. Or generate speech in eight languages: English, Spanish, French, German, Portuguese, Hindi, Bosnian and Arabic. Generated narration is baked into the exported video.
Do I need editing skills?+
No. Paste your URL, pick a length and press generate. You get a finished storyboard with copy, layouts, timings and a live preview. Then swap copy, colours, fonts, transitions or media in the studio — everything autosaves.
How does exporting work?+
The studio paints your scenes onto an HTML canvas in real time and records it with the browser's MediaRecorder, so you download a real MP4 (or WebM if your browser can't encode MP4). Music, narration and sound design are mixed into the file. Longer videos take longer to render — a 5 minute film renders in about 5 minutes.
Where can I publish the videos?+
Anywhere. MP4 works on YouTube, Vimeo, LinkedIn, TikTok and Reels, and every project is available in 16:9, 9:16, 1:1, 4:5, 21:9 and 4:3. You can also use the built-in embed snippet to drop a promo or intro straight into your own site, or share the watch link.
Is the music really copyright free?+
Yes. All 30 tracks are composed by the app with the Web Audio API — no samples or master recordings — and released as CC0 1.0: free for commercial use, no attribution, no clearance paperwork. Intro sound design and animations are original in-house work too.
